Description
We are looking for an experienced GPS Machine Operator to join a Tauranga-based civil construction company driven by family values, quality workmanship and a close-knit culture. With a core focus on earthworks and 3 waters, the business has a technical subdivision project kicking off in October and is looking for an experienced operator to hit the ground running. This role offers the potential for further projects in line with the growth of the business.
About the Role
- Operate 20T GPS-controlled machinery on a technical subdivision
- Complete earthworks, excavation and detailed trimming
- Work from GPS models, plans and site levels
- Work closely with the Foreman and wider site team
- Support the delivery of quality and safe civil works
Skills & Experience
- Proven GPS machine control experience
- Civil earthworks and subdivision experience
- Trench shielding experience
- Confident reading plans, models and site levels
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently
What's on Offer
- $35 - $50 per hour, based on experience
- October 2026 start
- Initial 3 - month contract
