Position : Hydro Excavator Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Hydro Excavation Operator, you will be a key player in performing precise, non-destructive excavation tasks using hydro vac trucks. Your work will involve exposing underground utilities, pipelines, and other critical infrastructure with the utmost care and safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate hydro vac trucks to perform hydro excavation, daylighting, trenching, and debris removal.
- Safely expose underground utilities and other infrastructure without causing damage.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on hydro vac equipment.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest safety standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
- Complete all necessary documentation and reports related to job activities.
- Assist with other tasks as required on-site.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a Hydro Excavation Operator or in a similar role.
- Valid Class 4 License
- Strong understanding of hydro excavation techniques and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret job plans and utility maps.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and on different types of terrain.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on your own
