Labourer – Concrete Cutter & Driller
Fast track to $35+ per hour | Christchurch based

We’re looking for fit, reliable and motivated labourers to join a well-established concrete cutting company in Christchurch. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn a skilled trade, get fully trained and progress into a Cutter/Driller role.
What’s on offer:
- Start on $25–$26 per hour as a Labourer for your first 800 hours
- Progress to $27 per hour as a Trainee Cutter/Driller in a permanent role
- Full training provided over 3–6 months
- Progress to $30+ per hour and a company vehicle once fully trained
- Potential to earn $35+ per hour within 12 months
- Paid training and upskilling
- Cash bonuses for completing BCITO courses
- Time-and-a-third for hours worked outside 6am–6pm once permanent
- Away work with allowances provided
- Additional bonuses for special projects
- Clear pathway into a skilled and in-demand trade
What we’re looking for:
- Physically fit and comfortable with hard, hands-on work
- Reliable and punctual
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous labouring experience is an advantage but not essential
- High attention to health and safety
- Minimum restricted driver's licence, with the goal of obtaining your full licence
- Someone looking for a long-term career rather than just another job
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test

You’ll start out supporting the experienced team with general labouring duties while learning the skills of concrete cutting and drilling. With the right attitude and commitment, you’ll be given the training and support to progress into a skilled Cutter/Driller role.
