Franklin Smith is looking for a capable Yardperson / Working Foreman and a Civil Labourer to join a project team in Queenstown.

Yardperson / Working Foreman
You’ll take ownership of day-to-day site logistics, coordinating deliveries, managing materials and helping keep the site safe and productive. Duties include:
- Receiving deliveries and assisting with unloading.
- Managing stockpiles and pushing up material as required.
- Operating a loader and/or fork loader for material handling.
- Organising road sweeping, rubbish removal and general housekeeping.
- Keeping access areas clear, tidy and safe.
- Tackling practical site tasks as they arise.
You’ll need relevant site or yard experience, current WTR endorsements, confidence operating plant and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Reliability, initiative and strong health and safety awareness are essential.
The opportunity
An immediate start is available once the required site inductions are completed. The project is expected to run through to May 2027, with the possibility of moving into an ongoing operational role for the right person.
