Position: Contracts Administrator

Role Description:
The company is seeking a Contracts Administrator to manage high-value projects in Bowen Hills. The successful candidate will coordinate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, compile and prepare contract bid documents, and interpret design and construction contracts. This role requires a sound understanding of subcontractor tender packages, negotiations, variations, risk management, and project delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare subcontractor tender packages, scope of works, lettings, and schedules
- Negotiate and finalize subcontracts and supply agreements within the required timeframe and budget
- Identify and manage variations and risk
- Manage subcontracts through all phases including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims/variations processing, completion, and close-out
- Successfully deliver multiple projects simultaneously from pre-construction through to defect liability and handover
- Assist in managing client relationships and attending client meetings
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or relevant experience
- Relevant experience as Contracts Administrator in Commercial and Industrial New Build projects
- Ability to operate autonomously with initiative, reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Pro-active attitude with strong attention to detail and ability to achieve targets while maintaining high-quality standards
