System Engineer

Details:

• Rate: Up to $100 per hour
• Duration: Initial 6 months contract
• Start: ASAP
• Location: Wellington, hybrid

Role Overview:

You will be joining an established team that provide tech support to a field team. Apps have been developed and are running on mobile devices in kiosk mode, you will be responsible for getting new devices set up and maintaining them in a mission critical environment. It’s a fast paced and fun opportunity with a great bunch of people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and configuration
• Configure Microsoft Intune for application packaging and policy deployment
• Utilise Microsoft Entra ID for access management
• Support Windows 11 and leverage Autopilot for device management
• Operate within enterprise ecosystems, adhering to change management and peer review processes
• Configure Azure backend services (e.g., Service Bus, API Manager, Storage)
• Integrate IoT routers with cloud solutions
• Utilize Azure DevOps and Agile tools like Kanban boards

Attributes:

• Process orientated, reliable and a strong communicator
• Great at dealing with end users
• Comfortable in an enterprise environment
• Experience with all the above technologies is a must
