About the Role:
We are seeking an Software Developer to join our clients multifaceted team. This role is focused on developing and maintaining business-focused software solutions from design to unit testing. As part of the Development team, you will work collaboratively to ensure that business requirements are met while maintaining high standards of software quality. You will be responsible for applying appropriate technologies, methodologies, and tools to deliver solutions that align with business needs and IT objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software solutions based on both business and technical requirements, ensuring they align closely with the needs of the organisation.
- Working closely with business analysts, you will gather requirements and ensure that the solutions you create effectively address business goals.
- Additionally, you will write and modify software, all while maintaining high-quality technical documentation.
- As part of your responsibilities, you will participate in design and code review activities, offering technical advice and coaching to team members to help foster their growth.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience in software development, systems analysis, design, or architecture.
- Proficiency in C# .Net, MS SQL Server, Web API and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working within such frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
- A commitment to continuous learning and adapting to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
