Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in product design with a strong, diverse portfolio
- Proven leadership in design projects and cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Advanced skills in Figma, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Expertise in user-centred design, prototyping, and design-for-manufacture
- Strategic thinker with strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience mentoring junior designers and fostering creative environments
- Hands-on prototyping skills, including CNC machinery experience
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design projects, from concept through to delivery
- Develop forward-thinking design strategies aligned with user and business needs
- Conduct market analysis, user research, and usability testing
- Create and iterate prototypes that meet high-quality and production standards
- Work with production, marketing, sales, and engineering to bring designs to life
- Advocate for design excellence and contribute to cross-functional collaboration
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the product design function
- Ensure environmental and quality standards are upheld across all outputs
