We’re seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join a leading infrastructure and civil engineering company in New Zealand. Key Responsibilities:
 
Service Improvement

  • Collate and document service delivery requirements through detailed user stories.
  • Identify functional overlaps between systems and work with stakeholders to determine the most effective solutions.
  • Create clear and concise documentation to outline the identified requirements and solutions.

Governance

  • Translate business requirements into effective, streamlined processes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed procedures and checklists to ensure governance standards are met.

Process Consolidation

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify current process gaps and differences across all divisions (from pre-tender to mobilisation).
  • Work on process consolidation initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Update and streamline existing processes, and design new process models to improve overall efficiency.

Testing

  • Verify test cases against documented requirements and support the collation of test results.
  • Assist with re-litigation of requirements prior to retesting to ensure system readiness.

 
Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in process improvement and service delivery roles.
  • Strong ability to identify and solve system and process inefficiencies.
  • Expertise in creating user stories, documentation, procedures, and process models.
  • Comfortable liaising with stakeholders to gather information and drive change.
  • Familiarity with system testing and test case verification is a plus.
