Plumber Wanted – Join a High-Profile Team in Nelson!
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Plumber to join a locally owned and operated business in Nelson. Our client specializes in both residential maintenance and large-scale commercial projects, often working with architectural builds and leading commercial building outfits in the area. As a key member of the team, you'll work on a variety of projects, providing high-quality plumbing and gas fitting services to ensure client satisfaction and the smooth operation of both residential and commercial work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plumbing on commercial projects, including high-profile developments.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently on-site.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with the team to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
- Demonstrate a positive and flexible attitude, going the extra mile for clients to build lasting relationships and ensure retention.
- Observe and train apprentices
Skills & Experience Needed:
- High skill level with experience in both commercial and residential plumbing or maintenance work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of plumbing standards/legislation.
- Drain laying and gas tickets would be an advantage, but not necessary
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Own tools required for the role.
- Current PGDB license

- Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
