Role Overview:
This is a role for someone who thrives on structure, problem solving, and helping great teams do their best work. As the Operations Manager, you’ll be part of senior management and sit at the heart of the business, making sure systems run smoothly, people are supported, and regulatory obligations are met with confidence. From refining internal processes to championing the CRM and driving key projects, this is a fast paced, collaborative role where you can add real value across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the CRM platform, maintaining, optimising, and ensuring consistent use across teams, while leading training and data quality initiatives
- Act as the central contact for internal and external communication, managing complaints, and content approvals in line with compliance and brand standards
- Oversee alignment with regulatory requirements such as AML and FMA, maintaining accurate policies, records, and managing internal audits
- Identify and lead process improvements across the business, scoping and delivering cross functional projects that enhance efficiency and reduce risk
- Collaborate with IT vendors on business-critical issues, system improvements, and asset management
- Manage core HR responsibilities including documentation, onboarding and offboarding, employee queries, and performance and culture initiatives
Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing business systems, compliance, or operations within a regulated NZ environment
- Strong understanding of AML/FMA regulations and CRM platforms
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage across departments and with external vendors
- Project management mindset, organised, accountable, and always looking to improve
- HR experience a bonus, especially around documentation and employee lifecycle support
