Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in product design or a related field
- Strong understanding of user-centred design processes
- Proven ability to take projects through the full design lifecycle
- Proficiency with SolidWorks
- Experience with CNC machinery and physical prototyping a bonus
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
- A tertiary qualification in Industrial Design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A strong, relevant design portfolio is essential
Responsibilities
- Lead specific phases of product design projects
- Translate user research and stakeholder feedback into actionable design improvements
- Develop and test refined prototypes using in-house tools and machinery
- Collaborate across teams—Sales, Marketing, Production—to support product launches
- Create engaging presentations and documentation to showcase designs
- Contribute to the culture and development of the design team
- Support the sustainability goals and quality systems of the business
