Our client currently seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Functional Analyst to join their growing team. As the Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will gather, analyse, and document functional requirements, ensuring that the final product meets business needs and delivers value. Your role will involve understanding business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and working with development teams to create tailored solutions. You will also play a key role in testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the system before implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain documentation for functional processes, workflows, and system specifications.
- Develop test cases and conduct testing (including user acceptance testing) to ensure that solutions meet business needs and functional specifications.
- Identify, report, and track defects during the testing phase, working with development teams to resolve issues.
- Provide support during system implementation, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Assist in the training and onboarding of end-users.
Key requirements:
- 5+ years as a Functional Analyst or in a similar business analysis role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience with process mapping and business analysis tools.
- A good understanding of software development concepts and technical systems (databases, integration, etc.).
