We’re working with a successful, fast-growing property group based in Auckland, and they’re on the hunt for a switched-on, highly organised Facilities & Property Coordinator to join their close-knit team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being across the detail, is confident managing contractors and coordinating maintenance, and wants exposure to the commercial property space without needing to be highly technical. You’ll have an opportunity to learn on the job.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Coordinating reactive and planned maintenance across a range of light industrial and commercial buildings.
- Working closely with contractors, tenants, and the internal property team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Supporting the Commercial Property Manager with reporting, scheduling, documentation, and site coordination.
- Jumping into minor refurb projects (think $20K range) and learning more about how development projects run.
- Managing invoices, documents, and maintenance records with precision and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For: We’re after someone who’s:
- Exceptionally organised – a natural planner and task juggler.
- A clear and confident communicator – you’ll deal with a variety of stakeholders.
- Tech-savvy and admin-strong – comfortable using Excel, Outlook, and internal systems.
- Able to work independently and take initiative – but happy to be part of a supportive team.
Experience that would work well:
- Facilities or property coordination (ideal!)
- Project coordination or operations support
- Office or business administration (particularly in a busy, multi-tasking environment)
- Experience in real estate, construction, or asset/property management
- Trades coordination or contract admin
