We are partnering with a nationally recognised organisation to recruit a senior-level Facilities Manager to oversee one of the most prominent commercial precincts in Auckland’s CBD.
This is a rare opportunity to work across a fast paced, live environment—without being on the tools. Your focus will be on leading people, optimising operations, and driving contractor performance.
About the Role:
You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a large, mixed-use precinct spanning large retail and hospitality spaces. Reporting to the Head of Facilities, you’ll be supported by an Assistant FM and a full trades team to ensure smooth delivery across the asset.
Your focus will be on contractor performance, stakeholder engagement, and driving process improvements - ensuring this iconic precinct continues to operate at the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support an Assistant FM
- Oversee all facilities operations across a high-profile, live environment
- Manage and hold large team of contractors accountable to strict KPIs and performance standards ensuring they are performing to standard
- Take a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring operational issues are resolved before they escalate
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and external tenants to ensure seamless service delivery
- Drive process improvements, compliance, and asset performance
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Facilities Management role across commercial, large-scale, high-traffic assets
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Exceptional stakeholder and tenant relationship management
- Proven ability to manage contractor performance and hold suppliers accountable
- Confident handling budgets, compliance, and reporting
- Calm, solutions-focused, and proactive in a fast-paced environment
