EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

- $30 per hour plus

Description
We are looking for excavator operators to join one of Christchurch’s leading?civil contacting companies specialising in drainage and other dynamic projects with guaranteed forward work.
Operating a modern fleet of plant and machinery ranging from excavators, including various size vibro hammer attachments, to pumps and large pipe bursting setups.
The Role
As an operator, you will form part of a drainage team in a company that prides itself on its innovative and smart approaches to civil construction challenges.
You will get exposure to a broad range of different projects including large diameter pipelines, sheet piled trench shoring, extensive dewatering, large culverts, pipe bursting, etc.
With your proven operating experience, you will:
- have a current WTR endorsement, with Class2 or 4 licenses an advantage
- be a competent excavator operator with experience in drainage and de-watering operations and excavating in trench shields
- be willing to help drive productivity on site
- be prepared to deliver as part of a team
- be willing to look after and maintain plant and machinery including maximising fuel efficiency
- be reliable and take pride in what you do.
- $30 plus depending on experience.
