About the role?
- Manage all commercial aspects of business and projects above $1M in this Senior Leadership position
- Undertake daily reviews of project budget adherence and provide weekly updates/ forecasts to Construction and Project Management team
- Review processes and procedures to identify streamlining opportunities
- Manage 46 direct reports (QS’s, Estimators and Accounts) to ensure smooth payment processing and efficient workload management
- Be part of a forward-thinking team driving strategic expansion, where your contributions will directly support risk mitigation and competitive growth
Skills and Experience
- Adept in analysing, writing and presenting financial reports to wider management team
- Proven successes in similar roles with commercial oversight of large-scale commercial/ infrastructure construction projects
- At least 5 years in Senior QS positions with a strong understanding of commercial construction contracts
- Proficient in developing Junior Estimators and Quantity Surveyors to maximise productivity
- Proven capability to lead change management initiatives and implement risk mitigation strategies within a commercial environment
- Passive Fire background preferred however not essential
