Description

Rare opportunity to step into a hands-on, fast-moving role with a high-performing commercial property team – backed by an industry leader with serious pedigree. As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll be supporting a standout Project Manager – Facilities, known for their sharp commercial instincts, structured leadership style, and ability to get things done.

You’ll work across a busy commercial and industrial portfolio — managing tenancy works, contractor coordination, and day-to-day project delivery. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be exposed to a wide range of responsibilities and learn from one of the best in the business. No two days will be the same.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting with maintenance coordination, property works, and minor fit-outs
  • Managing daily communication across multi-tenanted buildings — some tenants can be demanding, so confidence and maturity are essential
  • Supporting project timelines, budgets, and reporting
  • Liaising with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Supporting H&S administration, compliance, and regular property inspections
  • Helping onboard and offboard tenants with clear, proactive communication
  • Contributing to the presentation and performance of properties across the portfolio

What We’re Looking For:
We’re after someone sharp, humble, and highly capable — the kind of person who notices problems before they arise, keeps projects moving, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You might be:

  • A junior project coordinator or assistant PM looking to step up — or someone experienced seeking a change of pace
  • In a retail operations or site management role and ready to transition into the property sector
  • Someone who loves variety, picks things up fast, and brings calm confidence to tenant and contractor interactions

To Be Successful, You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years’ experience in property, project coordination, facilities, or operational management (e.g. Commercial Property, retail, FM)
  • Outstanding organisational and multitasking ability
  • Calm, mature presence — especially in high-pressure or tenant-facing situations
  • Excellent communication skills – proactive, confident, and clear
  • Polished, professional presentation – you’ll represent the team daily
  • A driven, humble mindset – someone who’s ready to grow and get stuck in
  • Basic knowledge of property compliance and contractor management (a plus, not essential)

Bonus Points For:

  • Tertiary qualification in property, construction, or project management
  • Experience managing multi-tenancy portfolios
  • Familiarity with ADLS leases or lease documentation

Company Perks & Culture:

This business is known for its incredible team culture and for rewarding high performance with meaningful perks. You’ll enjoy:

  • Great renumeration with strong potential for progression
  • Company car
  • Next Gen gym membership
  • Legendary team celebrations – they go all out
  • A supportive, high-trust environment where effort is recognised and appreciated
  • Direct exposure to a high-performing mentor and leadership team
  • A well-established, respected brand with long-term vision and stability

If you’re an absolute superstar looking for a career-defining step in commercial property and want to be mentored by a proven leader in a team that runs at pace — this is the one.
