Apprentice Carpenter | Christchurch
Our Client is looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join them on a carpentry apprenticeship. This position offers full training and support, with the chance to build a solid career in the construction industry. You will work closely with experienced tradespeople on a variety of projects, learning essential formwork carpentry skills from the ground up.
The role:
- Assisting in constructing formwork for concrete foundations and structures
- Preparing and boxing areas for concrete pours
- Following instructions to meet project specifications and timelines
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Developing carpentry skills and knowledge through hands-on experience and training
What we're looking for:
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential
- A genuine interest in starting a career in carpentry and construction
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual labour tasks
- Commitment to completing an apprenticeship program
